We met at the beginning of the year, just as casual friends. Things have blossomed. Now we spend hours talking online, on the phone, over cam. It is wonderful and I have never been this happy.
He is a complete sweetheart, sends me cards and gifts through the mail, makes it known every day that he loves me. I mean, hours seem like minutes. We have yet to meet, and we are taking things slow. We plan to meet in September, just to be sure that things are real and not infatuation. Is this a good idea? I know the dangers, but my instinct tells me otherwise, that there is nothing to fear. Any insight would be wonderful. Thankyou.

Before you go out with him, you should do a background check on him. There are web sites that you can go to,and do this. Ask him for his date of birth, like you want to know his sign. I assume you have his whole name, where he was born or raised, what schools he attended, and where he works. All of those places should be abe to tell you something about him. Make it seem as if you are an employer who is considering hiring him What ever you do, please be safe and careful.

I would definitely take the chance. It seems that things are going well so far. I will tell you this, I met someone over the internet. We kept in contact everyday, shared a lot of different things and we realized that we had a lot in common. We finally decided that we would meet. We met in a public place for the first 6 dates. I am happy to say that it has been 9 years since that date and he is now my husband. I am not at all saying that this will happen to you, (and it may) but just wanted you to see that this type of relationship can work out. I hope the best for you.

I would be VERY skeptical of this man. He can act as anyone, posing as a nice guy, but could be anything from a murderer to a nice guy or anything in between. If you do go to meet him, you should take along friends and make it a group meeting. I would NOT meet him alone for a LONG time. Others like you who were very sure have wound up raped or dead. Be careful. Be smart. Take precautions. Call and ask your local police what they would advise you to do. I think you probably know the answer and it probably breaks your heart, but it's better to be safe than to be taken in by a con artist. Sorry to be so depressing, but I'm concerned about your safety.

I think where you meet people does not matter..
Even you meet somebody in school or work place, it is same for the ones who cheat or do bad things.
Just meet him at public place where some people are in dayt ime.
Unless you meet somebody in person, you don't really know what they are like.

Why not? if you think something is there go for it. Just make sure you meet in a place where there are lots of other people.

If you want to meet a total stranger. He could be deaf or have a dissability. He could maybe in a wheelchair. Or he could be a kidnapper. Take my advice. You never know what will happen.

Yeah..go for it! It sounds like he likes you. It will be even better when you meet face to face and can actually hug and touch the person! Have fun and I hope it works out.
