We are thinking about getting a male chihuahua, he is about a little over a year. (Not yet 1 and a half). He isn't neutered yet, and it's a big thing to me (especially when I have a spayed female dog..) Would the dog have any problems? I just want to make sure, to see if this dog would be a right addition to our family.

You can always neuter the dog. It may be too late to change some of his behaviours since he is an adult dog.
At least you wont have to worry about puppies.

No It isnt too late to neuter my friend didnt neuter her pomeranian until he was about 11 yrs old and he didnt have any problems or if this doesnt help and you are still worried call the local vet or humane society

It's never to late to neuter. Neutering will help keep him from having a lot of behavioral and health problems too.

It's never to late, but if your female is spayed why bother? I'm sure your chihuahua isn't going to get out since your probably keeping him as an indoor dog.
But do what you want.

Discuss it with your vet, as long as your dog is healthy it is never to late to neuter. Good Luck.

Never to late, I didnt get my dog spayed untill she was 4. Also you should give it some time for the "lil guys" to fully drop, so the vet isnt up in there digging for them.

Nope, it's never to late to neuter. It's highly unlikely that your dog will have any problems.
