INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup uncooked elbow macaroni
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1/2 onion, chopped
1 teaspoon garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 cup stewed, diced tomatoes
1 cup shredded cheese
I think I am going to use pasta sauce instead of the tomato sauce. I can't make it with onions, if my kids see it, they won't eat it. I am going to cook the beef with minced garlic. I'm debating on which seasoning to use. Which do you prefer I use: Worchestershire sauce, Basil, Oregano, Parsley and Paprika.
Which seasonings out of the ones I have listed should I use?

I would use everything except the oregano. You could use onion powder instead of onions, also put stewed tomatoes into blender if your kids don't like chunky tomatoes.I would leave out the tomato sauce and pasta sauce. Use a whole can of diced tomatoes and a little water. When mixture is done. Instead of macaroni, add minute rice right into the mixture and cook a few min. If you want to kick up a portion for you, add jalapeno slices or cayenne pepper after you dip it onto your plate. Then the kids will not get burned. Stewed tomatoes are more "kid friendly" in this recipe than a heavy sauce.

If your kids are onion phobic try some onion powder...its got a pretty decent flavor and use pressed garlic..the flavor is more intense that way. I'd use worchestershire and some nice medium cheddar cheese.
If you are going for a more Italian flavor leave out the worchestershire and put in the oregano, basil and add some rosemary and/or thyme...but use some tomato paste to thicken it up a little. On this use provolone cheese...yummy!!!

If you want the onion taste -- grate the onion and cook with the beef - the kids will not see any. Since you are substituting pasta sauce, it has the oregano, etc in there. Maybe add some bacon bits and/or taco seasoning IF your sauce is not too sweet. What kind of cheese are you using? You could always use sharp cheddar for a bite.

Grate the onions so they add flavor and they cannot be seen. Add this and the worchestershire sauce to the meat and cook it all together. You can also use seasoned stewed tomatoes that already have italian seasonings in it. If you need more seasoning and want an italian flavor add ready pack of spaghetti seasonings to the pasta.

add 1 tsp.salt to your pasta when half way done, get onion powder instead of the onion; about a tsp.add just a quick splash of worchershire to ground beef, and a tsp. of basil to beef while sauteing.kids aren't much on seasonings like adults are.mozzarella cheese mixed with cheddar would be better and look creamier.and I'd get rid of the diced tomatoes unless that's what your kids like then add them

using a pasta sauce is a good idea. you could even add a jar of salsa..if you puree it so your kids cant see the onions. try adding some italian seasoning that has a mix of basil, oregano, and thyme.

Oregano and add some hot sauce. Maybe not to the whole dinner but to your plate if you like it hot.
