I've been taking multivitamin & multimineral tablets for about 2 weeks now. About a week ago I started getting dizzy spells along with light-headedness, almost to the point where I feel like I'm going to faint. I've been dizzy like this for quite sometime now. When I wake up in the morning at 7:30am every morning and I am dizzy as well. I went to the doctors about 4-5 days ago and they took acouple samples of blood along with a urine sample. Could taking multivitamins make me dizzy like this? Should I try not to take them for acouple days and see if it makes any difference?

Please let me know what you think...
Thanx!

I can't take multivitamins and I wasn't able to take my prenatal care vitamins. I noticed that I would feel sick to the stomach and I would also feel dizzy. I think they supplement with who knows what to bring down the cost they would have to pay to make the multivitamins. They choose money and using less quality products then making the right vitamins for people to be healthy. But for whatever the reason, they need to stop. I don't take any vitamins even though I really want too. Everybody is cutting back and that's affecting the way food should taste and everything else.

I don't think the vitamins could be making you dizzy but along with the multi-mineral tablets that
could be too much for you. If the doctor didn't say yes and tell you to stop then I doubt that could be the problem. Your doctor must suspect
something else. I hope everything turns out okay.

kindly check your vitamins if there is a buclizin content... because this buclizin may cause dizziness and sometimes vomiting but normally it will just last for 3 days and after taking vitamins regularly it will gradually fade... try to look for another multivitamins that will fits you and make you alive and alert because that's the usual effect of multivitamins for daily needs.

If you take them on an empty stomach, YES! They will make you dizzy & feel sick to your stomach, making you want to vomit.

They very well might be. You should always take them with food. I have to, or I start feeling sick too.
