Well I must say that I like a little of both. My husband is a partier on the weekends and a laid back guy throught the week. Whether it's because he is hung over I don't know. But it's fun, when we go out places, even when he isn't partyin he's a very flirty guy, (yes it irritates me at times) but that's the fun part about him. He's a social butterfly and I think if it wasn't for him being that way I certainly wouldn't have a clue to half of the people we know. I do however don't like the drooling, falling over drunk that he sometimes can be, so don't go overboard with it.

They want a laid back guy I suppose, not a partier. But much more important if you've read any surveys of what women want in a man is:
1. SENSE OF HUMOR
2. Courteous to them, as in old fashioned opening the door for her, paying the dinner for her, holding out her chair for her at a restaurant, helping her on and off with her coat.
3. NOT trying to impress us.
4. Interested in her as a person, not just a sex object.
5. Willing to do things she's interested in.
6. Has a soft touch in all ways you can take this.
7. Is courteous and not moving too fast in the romance department, just taking your time, slow and easy does it.

Laid back, but not lazy. Knows how to have a good time, but in a responsible and mature way. Like if he drinks he doesn't get completely trashed. If he has a good buzz he wont drive anywhere. Doesn't do drugs, doesn't sleep around, and doesn't act like an asshole when he's drunk. Partying sometimes is fun, but he has to have a good head on his shoulders and have a job.

I prefer laid back that way I don't have to fight for his attention. I was with a guy who wasn't so laid back and I couldn't stand it because it seemed like he spent more time with everyone else than me. But I don't want someone that is totally shy and afraid of people. A happy medium.

Actually, both is good. It's nice to be laid back but occasionally going out and have a wild time too. A good blend of both and knowing when each is appropriate is perfect.

I like a guy who isn't too much of a partier but who isn't so laid back he becomes boring... a balance of both pending the setting we were in is good.

i like laid back, partier is okay sometime, when you want to go hang out and there's a party you could go there, laid back is better, i'm more laid back, sometimes i just get that feeling that i need to do something.

i like goofy men. i might take a lovable guy over a "horny" guy any day. i like men that have a humorousness. somebody that i will sense risk-free with, and merely somebody who is conscious the thank you to have a reliable time. i understand this does not count, yet i do in comparison to long hair on men :P specific, there are men that could pull it off, and that they could be warm, yet i like a guy with short hair =) Oh and he must be spontaneous. I hate staying homestead continuously. i like attempting new issues. yet there are days as quickly as I merely opt to take a seat around.
