This is a personal preference as all will be. I believe there is nothing as good as a good tree ripened Michigan Peach! Another favorite is Cantaloupe from mid state Indiana.
I am sure there are tropical fruits that are out of this world. I really think it is the preference of the one eating it. Fresh and ripened on the stem is usually best. Except for the banana which I believe must be cut green and mature off the tree.

Durian. It's called the king of fruits. I know many tends to disagree on the smell, but people that tried it, can't live without it.
