I have done searches as well & all I came up with was a doll dressed as a bride. Does your sister want the doll to be dressed like her? If so I would get a move on so that the dress maker can get moving on the little dress.

I have never heard of a bridal doll. I looked it up on yahoo search and I got either barbie dolls dressed as brides or lingerei, I would stick to the linguerei. Woo hoo, how fun!

The only thing I've ever known a "bridal doll" to be is like a bigger version of a Barbie doll and dressed like a bride. I haven't seen them in years tho, so that makes me think that isn't what the person is talking about. But they used to be so pretty and would have stands for them to be able to be stood up and displayed, she'd be complete in her wedding gown, earrings, veil and shoes. Gosh, I hadn't thought about those things in years!!
Good luck in figuring this one out!
**Maybe you need to go back and ask whoever told you to get it what they're talking about and where are you supposed to find it?

Maybe it's the little figurine of the bride and groom that sits on top of the wedding cake? Just a guess. Otherwise I'd say maybe it's a doll dressed like the bride, but what would this be used for? Hmmmm.... Good luck figuring this one out. You may have to ask her after all!

I have a bridal doll that my mother bought for me -- my doll was made by someone who designed the dress similar to mine (she knitted it) and added to the doll (which was purchased at a craft store). you may find that you can make it yourself for her by purchasing it (usually 12 inches), and getting a gown made or bought for the doll.
