I got a new tattoo thats only 3 days old. I was wondering since I never got a tattoo on my neck only my wrist , I was wondering if its okay to wash my hair. will the shampoo hurt my tattoo?

Sure you can, but I would suggest though that after washing your hair, make sure you wash the tattoo with soap and water to get any residue off.
I just got the back of my neck tatted a week and a half ago and washed my hair that day...I'm all healed up at this point. :-)

Your shampoo and conditioner should not cause a problem for your tattoo. When healing the tattoo on the front if my shoulder I showered like normal, except I cleaned the tattoo with my hand (instead of a washcloth) and I didn't let the water beat down on it. The soap will just run down and off your back along with the water so it won't be a problem.

Sure, but you might want to cover it with A & D ointment first and tape it with Saranwrap(to be removed afterwards). It is to protect the surface from excess moisture which will cause the tattoo to scab and therefore draw out the ink into the scab. This and sun exposure are the two worst things for new tats. A & D is probably better than bacitracin or lotions as it helps heal the wound fast and doesn't wear off as fast as the others.

It shouldn't be a problem just be sure to rinse well so no soap residue is left on the tattoo.
Main thing is to make sure you don't scratch the tattoo with a comb or brush and gently pat the area dry.

Shampoo will not hurt your tattoo you cleaned it with antibacterial soap so shampoo will not be a problem. Make sure you rinse it well. I have one on the back of my neck too.

no it will be fine especially after 3 days it should be ok i was even told to wash my tattoo within about 5 hours of getting it done and mine is fine so you will be fine

no.i wouldnt use anything medicated though like dandruff shampoo just in case.i have one on the back of my neck and i washed my hair the day after i got it.

wash away sweety...if it were me id use baby shampoo, either way you will be just fine since its 3 days old. then wash it after your done with your antibacterial soap and then some bacitracin...lotion in a day or two....

it should be fine just try to keep it as shampooless as possible and don't let the water beat down on the tattoo.

yes please do wash your hair, dont be walking around with a nappy head. the shampoo will not hurt your tattoo. its not going anywhere unless you lay out in the sun forever.
