I want to build a parabolic solar concentrator for the production of photovoltaic energy.
It's possible to use the normal single crystal solar cell with a concentration of 40 sun and one heat dissipation system, or I must search special solar cell for concentrated photovoltaic?
Thanks

It's possible, but you need to avoid the cell reach high temperatures, for this applications AsGa cells are much better than silicium(Si) cells, because AsGa are more efficient and are much less disturbed by high temperatures(but they need cooling too...)
By the way....concentrating sun you don't obtain higher volts, but only higher current, because cells have a fixed voltage....

Using a normal photo cell you will get a great deal of loss due to heat, but if you cool it a bit more a normal one will work fine
