like to download i dont want my computer to mess up but i want aim sooo bad

As long as you download it from the aol web site, no problems. I have it on my computer.

Downloading wont give you the virus but when you do download it never hit save always hit open. The viruses only come from an im that has a link in it.

It's very safe. I've downloaded it on a couple computers of mine and never had a problem with viruses. I assume that is what you are worried about, right?

I never had a problem with it.
And if you're worried about being sent viruses, just be careful not to click on any unknown links people send you, even if they're your friends, because sometimes the virus automatically gets sent to everyone on that person's buddy list.

I've had it for 5 years. It dosen't harm the computer at all but just be careful with links people send you because those could be viruses.

AIM is very safe. It has a slight tendecy to increase ad ware on your computer though.

aim is the greatest online chatting thing and as long as u go to www.aim.com and download it its compleatly safe

i think it is great. i have downloaded it on several (over four) computers over the years and never had a problem with it at all. it is great!!! have fun instant messaging!!!
