My mother! She is a rock! She was a homemaker, stayed home and raised my sister and I . She was always there for us, still is. She is a strong, educated, faithful, God filled woman....I hope to be just like her!

Myself. If you allow outside representative to influence your life without seeking your own influence you are nothing but a puppet. The Gentle Rebbe's words are a welcome guide in many things, but there is no way to know, truthfully, if the lips or books you are allowing to influence you are truly the Rebbes words or a twisted version that influences to control.
Some even go to untimely deaths on the words spoken as if they are the Rebbe's words and Bibles twisted for every sinful gain of those calling themselves speakers for the Rebbe.

My children have influence on my life. I have to do what is correct and make wise choices so I do not disillusion them.
But other than my children, which is obvious if your a parent I would say my sister. My sister suffered for almost ten years with leukemia until she finally died but she never complained or cursed God because she was so sick. She always kept strong her faith and knew how blessed she was and was always a blessing to everyone around her.

My father. When I had learned to read, he gave me my first real books: Science for the Junior High School, and the Radio Amateur's Handbook. Both were fascinating, so I had learned a great deal about electronics, water and sewage treatment, plants, and many other subjects by the time I started second grade. I have done science ever since.

My stepfather. He was a former teacher of mine. After my parents died, he took me into his home, and later legally adopted me. He taught me about love in action. He didn't just talk idly about love, but demonstrated it every day. He was retired and had no biological children of his own. He could have just had a nice retirement without taking on a troubled kid like me, but he did. He became terminally ill, but even then, showed incredible courage, grace and humor. When he died, it was such a tremendous loss for me. But I'm so glad that he was part of my life.

My older brother, who made me realize that religion is just a sham.
With out whom, I'd probably still be lying awake at night crying, begging and praying to an invisible deity not to send me to hell.
(like I did as a small child)
And/or worse still going to my parents brainwash cult.

My daddy (he was the first one that showed me the Bible).
My mom (she was the first one that showed me the power of Virgin Mary and other saints).
My daughter (she was the first one to see spirits when she was a little girl and through her, I came to know my religion: Spiritism).
Of course you're talking about religion and that stuff, right? There are other people that influenced me in other things.
Peace!
