Smile, breathe and walk on. Nobody died! There will come a day when nobody ever does this to you and you may even feel invisible. Will you then crave just someone, anyone noticing you?!

No ..when they yell what syour name you can stay in the distance and reply in a polite but not sexy or sweet tone" Why would u like to know?" or "Yes, may I help u?"
They might just get it and not reply back. But what u do is a good thing. My cousin got sprayed with a bottle of cloroform and thank god she didnt faint...Its good to keep distance form such wierd ppl.
Prayyers ur way/

Be honest! I can't express this enough. Sometimes guys just need to hear the truth. If you say, "I'm sorry I'm just not interested in you." That will shut him down immediately. Very rarely will guys continue to pursue when you crush any future advances. Be nice of course but if he expects more than tell him he will get no more. Hope that helps.

No I usually ignore them too - mostly because the guys like that are obnoxious and you know that they probably yell the same things at girls 10 times a day. I dont feel bad because they are over confident and agressive and know it.

Its the level you seem to be on , move on to another level of being , and if you have nothing in common and dont want to be hit on by that level of a person avoid the situation and or ignore the person or persoons , they will know you are are on a higher level of existance than that type of trailer trash .

If you are not attracted to someone on the street then you are not obligated to acknowledge their greeting. Don't even make eye contact or say anything. Just walk on by, or say "sorry, no time, gotta go!" Or, "sorry, I have a boyfriend (husband?)." Or "sorry, not interested." Or "sorry, I don't talk to strangers."

I don't see any other way you could have handled the situation. You did right. If they don't get the message don't feel bad.

you really should ignore those guys walking down the street...if it's someone you know you just have to be honest or politely decline...

That is the best way to handle it.You were friendly but let them know by your silence that you wernt intrested.Try not to let that make you feel bad.

A real man would know when to drop it and move on. Don't feel sorry for them if they don't get the message.
