Apparently, diseases we have eradicated in this country YEARS ago like Tuberculosis and Polio are rampant in poorer countries like Mexico. And when people come over the border illegally, they don't get immunized, so they bring the diseases with them. So we are having outbreaks of these diseases in communities with large illegal immigrant populations.

But they are only coming here for a better life, right? We should probably get on our knees and thank them for bringing these diseases, many of which are resistant to our antibiotics.

I missed Polio, anyway. it almost killed my father, and now I have to worry about it killing me, or my son. Thank you, Mexico.

Actually Mexico has a better immunization rate than the US does. TB has been brought back to life by HIV and AIDS patients in the US.

TB was never eradicated in the US and started a comeback in the 70's and 80's. It started a comeback because people were not being tested the way they should. In fact 28% of the cases are Black American citizens and 18% are whites and 23% are Asian....so where does Mexico fit in there?
There is no outbreak of polio the last reported case of polio was in 1999 in the US.

Also for the response below TB isn't treated with antibiotics. It also isn't treated for six months. There are many exposures and he could have been exposed to TB by an AIDS patient that is a US citizen. You do not know how or when the exposure occurred so presumption is pretty big on your part when you do not even know the proper treatment. TB is treated by antituberculosis medications. Has your friend had an HIV test? I think that it should be done if not. TB is also treated for a series of 9 months not 6.

Yeah, there has been a HUGE increase in such diseases here in America since all this amnesty crap started again!!
My friends' son was exposed to this type of T.B. where he works!!! They get a LOT of ILLEGALS in there!!!

He tested positive for exposure to T.B. and it WAS one of the drug resistant strains!!! He had to be on antibiotics for 6 months, and during that 6 months he had to have his blood drawn EVERY week to make sure the drugs were not damaging his liver!!
What if your child had been exposed to this??? Can you imagine a little child having to go through this treatment?? And, who's to say they HAVEN'T been exposed ALREADY???
ILLEGALS are EVERYWHERE in this country!!

The next time you are around someone who's coughing, will you wonder if this person was exposed to T.B. from some ILLEGAL, who is now passing it on to ALL around them??!!! It sure makes ME wonder!!

Because the Mexican government doesn't immunize their people, they are too busy giving them gps devices to allude capture so they can get a job & send money back home. The result of lack of immunization is unfortunately the rise of TB & polio, * small pox. LEGAL immigrants have to have their shots up to date to enter this country. Another reason why I am for enforcement of our immigration laws.

Since your other Q was removed...
The main problem is that they use the Emergency Room as their regular doctors and they don't have insurance to pay for it. Also...Because they don't speak English, it takes much longer to treat them. I've seen this MANY times and I have waited MANY hours to get ER service (yeah, wife is accident prone).
Also...Because they are illegal, they don't get normal jobs. As a result, they don't pay taxes.

the libtards don't want to hear any of this, they just want to call you a racist. it is their only recourse.
example:
“We hope that the voices of hatred and bigotry will silence themselves for this debate on immigration.” Senator Ted Kennedy, D-MA.
