besides accutane....?

Question

are there any other perscription acne treatment drugs LIKE accutane, that don't have as severe side affects? most especially in the area of birth deffects?

Shoot, I don't know. I was on accutane once and I don't know if you went on it, but it's a little rough. It did clear up my skin for a while, but I don't think I'd go back on it. I felt depressed sometimes & it really dries out your skin pretty badly for a while. My skin didn't stay clear either, although it was never as bad as it was before accutane -- it really just takes time and getting older for your skin to get better. I might try Differin. I don't think it works miracles, but it helps.
