We were laying in bed and she was telling me about how she was telling her dad about me and some of the things I say and do and that he thinks I am funny and likes me ALREADY....

He can probably see how happy she is when she talks about you, how her face lights up at the mention of your name. As long as his little girl is happy then he is happy.

i just think she likes you and is very close to her dad. her dad is asking questions because he's looking out for her. making sure you're good enough but wants to know a little about you before you meet (in case you ever do)
