Why is it SO HARD to find a virtuous woman?

I've met a lot of women. But my God! They're like sex-crazed monkeys by time they turn 16!
Where do you find a virtuous woman; worthy of holy matrimony?

Honestly, it might be because it sounds like you're looking for a uterus rather than a partner. Women don't like to be viewed much less treated as baby dispensing machines. What do you have to offer her? If the woman's to respect you as the head of family, what are you doing to show that you're willing to do it and capable of it? What characteristics do you embody through your faith and how will you help her grow in hers? For the most part, relationships take work - even the ones with an instant chemistry. It seems a bit unreasonable to expect to walk up to a good, virtuous woman and begin by looking at her biological clock.

At first glance, your question seemed very caustic to women, but after i filtered the sex-crazed monkeys part out... I think its valid.

It IS hard to find a virtuous person, male or female. That is why they are such precious treasures. As with anything precious like diamonds, rubies or gold, it takes time and a lot of sweat and effort, but it will be worth it when in the end you find it.

Where to find one? I dont really know... How to find one? With a patient and faithful heart, I guess. One that has faith that humanity is not all down the drain yet and hope for a better morning, every morning.

Because it is equally difficult to find a virtuous man... why expect virtues from others when we are ourselves ain't exactly a embodiment of Virtues and Wholesomeness... :)

For ONLY a virtuous Man is deserving of a virtuous Woman... are you deserving? or do you only THINK you are deserving?

add: Btw... how do you know they are unvirtuous unless you are the one that have caused them to be used cars? Some of them may have made a mistake early in life... but it doesn't make them unvirtuous..coz all make mistakes. If you too are not a fresh flower... then doesn't that make you unvirtuous as well?And further more... a 50 year old "fresh flower" doesn't equate to a wholesome virtuous person, if they are spiteful, hateful and mean. And a "used car" thats kind, gentle and bears a heart of gold, doesn't make them unvirtuous.

Do you see the kind of role models young girls have in our culture...no wonder they are so screwed up!
There is hope though.
As a parent I try to guide my children through all of this world's lies and deceit and hopefully other parents are doing the same.
There are good, virtuous women out there. They are hard to find because they work hard, go to church and generally stay away from the social sludge.
Pray about it....God will lead you to a nice girl when you least expect it! : )

There are some women (and men) out there who don't throw their bodies around like common prostitutes. Sadly, there aren't that many young people these days who stick to the idea of waiting until marriage or until they're truly in love. Some women (and men), though they aren't virgins, are "virtuous" in other ways. Their personality and current lifestyle might counter out their "sordid" past, if you will. The truth of the matter is - the current society isn't like it used to be. Get used to it.

I would not say that. Personally, I think young people are MORE conservative about sex. What worries me is that they don't practice safe sex and use contraception when they do it. It is connected to promiscuity but it's a different issue at the same time. Nobody should have sex without condoms and contraception. It ups the birth rate of teenagers and increases the risk of herpes, hepatitis and HIV infection.

Men aren't sex crazed monkeys? HA, just because women have claimed our sexuality doesn't make us less virtuous. It just means we're not willing to be pushed around by men's ideas about how their wife should obey or other stupidity. The question should really be where do women find a man who isn't suck on these traditional hypocrisy.

Maybe you should choose a different watering hole. Have you tried to go to a different church? If the girls in your church aren't virtuous enough for you, maybe you should try a more ridgid denomination.
