He has no idea what to get them! He wants something geared more towards his mother (he sees it as "her" day)...but they aren't a new couple so things like a toaster or dish sets are obviously inapproproate. He is considering jewlery but I don't want his dad to be left out, so if it's something like that I need to know what a good gift for his dad would be! Please help! Thanks!!!

Being married for 25 years, i'm specific this is not the 1st time you have been tempted to get the bat out and initiate swinging, lol. this is not the fights, this is the way you be sure them that makes or breaks a marriage. You 2 have been doing something precise! this is not your duty to conceal the focused visitor's gasoline costs. He had each and every precise to veto that concept! maximum men get slightly bored with the infinite info of making plans the unique wedding ceremony, not to point a renewal. making plans this journey has probably placed you in a romantic temper reminiscent of once you have been making plans the marriage, and you opt for him to be there too. this is not his fault he's not. This venture will bypass (as they consistently do) and you'd be sorry in case you canceled the renewal. at present, 25 years is uncommon certainly, and something worth a considerable party.

If he is looking to get his mom something they have a diamond necklace that is the past present future setting. It's very pretty and every woman would love it. The best place to get a gift from is from this website, www.thingsremembered.com or you may have one near you. They engrave all types of things and the cost is pretty cheap. They have a nice plate and stand that you can have engraved. They also have beautiful jewelery boxes you can purchase. How about finding a picture of them when the were first married and one of them currently and having it put in a double frame with a nice engaved message. You can later take the picture of them renewing their vowels and put it in place of the newer photo. It will be lovely, I promise.

Here's something creative that will be appreciated and he will have fun doing:

Make up a crossword puzzle and have all the hints be personal inside moments and jokes that only family would know about. Put it on a poster board and add some clipart and some family pictures to it!

The crossword puzzle could be time consuming and a bit frustrating ... he could do the same idea with a WORDSEARCH or WORDFIND puzzle.

Put your computer skills to work! Use Excel, get clipart from Yahoo Images Search, copy them, and reformat them, use a gluestick to put on posterboard.

Use graph paper, and pictures from magazines if you are not as good on the computer, and it will give it more of a homemade feeling.

Since the 25th is the silver anniversary, what about a really nice photo frame set. That way mom will love it and dad will like how nice their new wedding photo looks on display. Win Win.

My parents had their 25th wedding aniversary 3 years ago and they got things like towel sets, dish sets, frames, things they would be able to share. yeah sure they get all those things in their first wedding, but after having 5 kids and having those kids use up all your things its nice to have your own things like that again. They both loved the wedding.

How about tucking some cash in the card and saying open it immediately, they will decide on what they need the most. When I get stuck for a gift that is when I start giving money.

Have you ever heard of IBIDZ jewellry auctions, you can get really nice jewellry. Matching his/hers watches is what I got for mother/father in law and won their hearts at a very good price valued at $300.00 american for $30.00 american.

A gift card to a favorite eatery. A photo album of their "early years". A his and her Pedicure...don't laugh! I had my first one last year for Mother's day, thanks to my 20 something son. He sat right there and had one with me! When we got home and talked about the wonderful experience, my husband was ready to get one too! So for my Birthday, husband and I both got pedicures! Just a thought!
