wondows media player 11 legaly for sp1?

i try downloading it from microsoft.com but it says i need sp2 and i only have sp1 is there any other way.

Get yourselft a SP2 upgrade disk or buy a Windows XP SP2 and upgrade from your current 'dead technology' SP1.

Well, this is if you want to use MediaPlayer 11, after all the choice is yours... You don't have to use MP11 anyway, you can download Winap (later version on their site) and it will work similar and faster than MP11.
