On the last comment, where would you get the idea that Canadians are typically liberal? People here vote to the left and right. Hardly anyone votes Liberal. They are seen as the self-appointed 'official party of Canada' and are considered to be indifferent towards Western Canada. Not that Harper is any better. He is the same. Still, it is not popular and there are a lot of Canadians who like independents, the NDP, the Green Party and the Conservatives. Take Quebec-do they vote Liberal?

Sounds kinda desperate to me. If this person's religion is so great, people will figure that out for themselves.

Toss it out with the other garbage I gather.
This doesn't tend to be a problem at the Tim Hortons....maybe the Canadianess of it scares them away...they are afraid they'll start using the word liberal like it's a politcal party or not give a fig about his neighbor's views.

Throw it away if it bothers you, or if you work at the donut shop, then ask them to please stop leaving the materials. While there might be a right to free speech in this country, business owners have the right to ask people not to leave any literature around that they would prefer not to have lying about.

If you are the owner, you have a lot to say about it, and can post a no soliciting sign. And also inform the person who is leaving the paraphernalia, that it is not welcome in your shop. If you are not the owner and you notice it while visiting the shop.....you have two choices...trash it, or stop going their to get your donuts.

If you work at the donut shop you can tell them not to leave literature or post a "no solicitation" sign. At least that way if they don't stop you can threaten to call the cops. Otherwise, just throw it away.

Depends, are you a patron or an employee. If you're an employee than ask the person to knock it off (point to the no soliciting sign) and put the stuff in the garbage. If you're a patron then bring it to the manager's attention. (Or dump it all in the trash).

Is it your donut shop? If so, ask them to remove or you have the right to do with it whatever you want.
If it is not your donut shop, you either have to talk to the manager, ignore the paraphenalia, or choose a different donut shop.

Toss it and tell them to cut it out. If they don't, deface it and leave it lying around until they get the message. If you don't own the donut shop, then don't do the above - it's their problem.
