I have two dogs, and I give them pedigree dog food. One of them eats pedigree canned food and the other one eats pedigree dry food. Is that okay?

The site you want is this:

http://www.menufoods.com/recall

When I last looked, I didn't see Pedigree on the list of recalled foods. But it wouldn't hurt to check.

Good luck!

Pedigree is not on the list. If you go to their website it says that none of their products are involved in the recall. My dog eats Pedigree too. Last week when I bought her food they were out of the type she likes and I almost bought Mighty Dog, how scary.

www.menufoods.com/recall They will list out the types that are being recalled. The only food affected so far is the wet food, with chunks of meat and gravy.

I heard the dry is ok the stuff in the can in a sauce is questionable. The crumbled up stuff is ok. I still am confused I would go on the website that showed it on the news and maybe they will name specific brands. I almost want to make homemade food for them just to keep them safe.

Google it.. It worked for me.. also, i believe it is mostly with wet foods but it may just be that way for IAMS.. so check. It will tell you how to read the plant code on the food package to tell if it is harmful...hope this helps!
