Okay well, im doing this paper on self image and how it affects some people, im looking for something particular can someone tell me who has a lower self image, girls or guys? Does anyone have any links to where i can find some info how magazines and media make people want to be thinner, prettier and things like that. Iv looked tons of places, thanks for your help.

Well Kristina I think that your on the right track, even thou I don't believe self image can be related to just gender. Self Image includes many variables. Things such as enviroment, nationality, gender, social status, work postion or school. All this is portrade in our self image. As far as web sites that show all this I really couldn't help you find that, but hope that helps and wish you well in your endeavor.

You could try eating disorder websites, those disorders deal a lot with self image.
