Does anyone know if a consolidation firm will allow only two credit cards to be consolidated? Or does the amount have to be at least $10,000? Any advice for me would be appreciated.

Amanda is correct but in the time being they trash your credit by not paying until the account reaches charge off status. Then they charge YOU to manage YOUR MONEY! you can do the same. I would ask the CC companies if they will accept settlement on the accounts my self. If so get it in writing first. then pay them off. Oh, by the way--most future lenders look at CCC as a chapter 13 bankruptcy so that may be another way to go about this.

"Firms" do not consolidate your debt. They are middle-men that collect the payments and pay out to the creditors. Only loans actually consolidtae the debt into one account.
