I spent our savings gambling. I am working hard to repay him but I want to try to salvage this relationship. Any advice?

The best advice I can get is:
1. Get professional help for the gambling problem
2. Go to couples therapy

The fact that he hasn't run off yet is probably a good sign that he might be willing to try to work things out.

Even though this is a gambling forum, I'm sure you can get better advice elsewhere (internet and otherwise).

Best of luck.

Well this is quite ironic, not only have you gambled all the savings but your relationship as well. Its best to get help for you gambling problem, and make sure he knows you are doing something about it so there are no relapses.

you have to stay away from gambling totally. In fact get off this site and go to the health site or relationships. Not saying it to be mean but this is too much temptation for someone trying to stay away from gambling. This site is all about odds games strategy and gambling trip plans. Not a good site for someone sincere about getting out the lifestyle. best wishes dont look back.

That depends...if he can learn to trust you again. Once trust is broken, you rarely ever completely trusted again. You have broken his trust and will have to prove that you are trust worthy. It will take a great deal of work on your part. One slip up and you are likely to lose all trust and your relationship. This goes with any kind of trust-buster. Infidelity, drug use, alcohol use, gambling and the list goes on. My husband had an affair and drinks/drugs. I still after a year of trying to forgive him and move on, find myself not trusting him. I trusted him completely before, now it is a work in progress. All I can say, is good luck and work hard.
