Its definitely a waste of time and money to go through with colon cleansing. All you need is to increase your fiber intake and your body takes care of the rest. Plus fiber decreases the chance of developing colon cancer. Don't buy into these crazy fads!

Okay, first of all some of the responses people post are ridiculous. If you know nothing about cleansing, please don't interject your two cents. As a matter of fact, cleansing, not just colon is an extremely necessary and effective way of keeping your body free of excess buildup. I use GNC's 2-week Whole Body Cleanse every three months. Waste from the foods you eat can and will build up in your digestive tract, liver, and colon. Your body will help eliminate some waste but it is not as effective as a cleanse would be. Why? In a perfect world, if we all ate the perfect diet and got the required grams of fiber everyday then we wouldn't really need to do it. Guess what? I don't know of anyone who eats the perfect diet. Some of us come close but it still does not diminish the fact that in today's society we eat a lot of garbage which will in turn build up in our systems. When this happens over a period of time you can develop autointoxication. Autointoxication is where the waste gets put back into your bloodstream and makes you sick. If I were you, I would do a regular cleanse for the rest of your life. I know I am. I hope this helps and I wish you good luck if you decide to go this route.

The longer waste builds up, the more health problems it can cause, as waste attaches itself to the sides of the colon. The inside of the colon gets covered in sticky mucus, catching more waste and building up more toxic material. This can cause diarrhea, constipation, fatigue, headaches etc.
It wouldnt hurt in trying it cuz in the end it will help u prevent constipation, promote WEIGHT LOSS, increase your energy, and give u clearer skin,

Colon cleansing is completely bogus and can occasionally be dangerous, although usually it is just a waste of time and money.

If you like having ememas, this is for you. Nature doesn't require it, and humans were not meant to have it unless there is a specific medical need. The body doesn't develop "excess waste" and I wouldn't consider it any further!
