Well , I had that same problem
See what i did was I put my ponytail to the side, It looks nice but its still up. And if your part is in the middle of your head try moving it . Right after you wash your hair take a comb or brush and move it about a half an inch to the right or left . Also you could put your bangs ( if you have any) to the right or left which ever way your part is NOT going. I hope this helps because it worked for me!

Just pull your pony tail back or part it and keep it tight enough to make sure that it looks intentional. Also, what I do is put a tiny bit of hairspray on my part or up front to slick down the baby hairs and frizz. It makes it look like you used product, and works for me because it ends up looking styled that way with product and not just greasy.

you could try .. http://www.aussiehair.com/products/mega-instant.jsp which is sold in boots and superdrug (or anywhere really) which works really well and doesnt cost too much either. Only apply the conditioner to the length and ends of your hair- avoid the roots! and ensure you wash the shampoo and conditioner out properly! try ending your hair wash by using cold water; it closes your pores and leaves hair shinier!!!
ive also heard that sleeping on a silk pillow case stops night sweating - which also contributes to greasy hair
try not to brush your hair too much,, it makes it more greasy!
and just experiment with styles in your spare time!
you could put your hair up in a pony tail and scrunch it with mousse,, so the look is intentional..!!
Hope This Helps And Good Luck!

sometimes if you over wash you hair it will cause you scalp to become oily causing greasy hair... try letting it air dry rather than blow and it it gets really greasy... put some baby powder in you hands and run it through then brush and put in a pony. The powder will absorb some of the oil and you hair will not look so greasy.

My hair gets greasy really quickly too. Washing it daily can be bad but as long as you condition it your hair should be able to get some moisture.
There are many products that you can put in your hair before you straighten it and special straighteners that keep your hair protected from damage.
Not everyone wants to do this but if you highlight your hair it'll really keep your hair from getting greasy so quickly. I was skeptical when my hairdresser told me that but she subtly put them in to look natural and I can go two days without having to wash my hair now instead of everyday.

dont put conditioner on the top of your head, and also before your done in the shower, give it a quick rinse in cold water. it closes the pores where grease comes out so your hair stays non-greasy longer.
also, try not to put to many products in it.
but ya know, if your hair is really that greasy, its fine to wash it everyday. I do cause mine gets super greasy.

You can buy dry shampoo from most chemists. But in an emergency I would pull my hair back in a ponytail and u my fringe in a quiff at the front, keeping in place with Kirbie grips (matching/close to hair colour as poss). Looks funky!! Dark hair is brill for non-wash ponytails.

well i think you need a special kind of shampoo one that realy cleans it throughly and then towl dry your hair and you should at least once a week wash your hair utensils such as your brushes and combs so the greasy hair in your brush won't make your clean hair greasy and dirty. here's how
* first let them soak in warm water
* then comb out or pull out as much hair from he brush or comb as you can
* then shampoo them
* rinse throughly
* drop a tea spoon of rubbing achohal all over the brush or comb and rinse throughly
and right after you shower don't put any chemicals in your hair that can make your greasy in the morning except for "leave in conditioner" and "detangling spray"
then in the morning knock your self out with the gels and stuff! :-D LoL
hope I helped
