Accept Jesus as the son of God and the man that died for your sins. Realize someone suffered so you do not have to.
That is how you get into Heaven. Its not what YOU do but what HE did for you.

There are certain things we must do in order to receive salvation. Faith alone is not enough, belief alone is not enough. Those that believe that and quote scripture are leaving other scriptures out.
James 2: 26 " For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also."
Belief is not enough by itself...
"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven." Matthew 7:21
We must DO the will of the Father. That means we cannot just say, "I believe" and sit back and do nothing. That would negate the verse above. So what do we have to do?
Luke 13:3 Jesus said this about the need for repentance-
"...except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish."
Romans 10:10-"For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
Mark 16:16-"He that believeth AND is baptized shall be saved...."
1 Peter 3:21-"...baptism doth also now save us - not the putting away of the filth of the flesh - but the answer of a good conscience toward God."
Belief, repentence, confession AND baptism are ALL required for salvation. And we must live a faithful life because we can fall away.
Revelation 2:10 -"...be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life."

"John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son. whosoever believeth in him shall have everlasting life"
baisically that says all you have to do is pray to Jesus and accept and believe that he is real and is your savior and he will give you everlasting life in Heaven when you die.

Paul tells how to become a Christian, James goes more into detail on how to go after you already are Christian.
Jesus is the way and the truth and the life, no one will enter to the Father's house except through Him. : )

If you believe in your heart & confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord u will be saved & go 2 heaven

My dear Grandmother was laying in bed at the nursing home she had cancer, and she suddenly smiled ,her eyes got bright,she raised her arms and hands up and cried out Jesus !! and passed on she was a fine Christian .She trusted Jesus.she gave her life to him,she read the bible, she prayed.she lived a good clean life, she had true love in her and expressed it.who never put anything in her body that wasn't good for her body,never cussed, never hated, never argued much she did have here own mind though that's for sure.she went to church .
she was as all my people are just fine Christians.never put anyone down at all, no one .never talked behind peoples backs, they all were a great inspiration to me, I got my kindness from them.thru there wisdom and spiritaul knowledge. i miss them as they all have passed on, i wish you the best. having love and faith is whats truly important, all that call on my fathers name will not be saved only those who do my fathers will;, will make it to heaven, so you must pray for guidance and listen and do Gods will as best you can .God knows your heart, my spiritual love is now with you, i know you will make it.to heaven.And do keep love .faith and forgiveness in you

By doing to the perfect will of God (i.e obeying all his commandments) but unfortunatly it is impossible for everyone however possible for God so He came down as a human and gave His life on the Cross. Now all we need is Just to believe Him

by accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior...i hate that it sounds like such a sunday school answer...but it is true...it is an individual decision that only you can make for yourself...i know it sounds crazy...but logic and faith are two different things...i have faith that God is real....but then again i have proof in my own life too...my prayer for you is that you will find what i have. Honestly it makes me happy that you even have these questions...that is a start...ask yourself why you have these questions...???

God chooses the people who go to heaven. The holy spirit bears witness with their spirit. The rest of us have an earthly hope. Psalms 37:10,11 & 29.
