It is fine only the exposed part will start rotting but bacteria green spots wont be seen for a week at least. You can always remove the top and eat the rest. If you want to perserve it all then wrap it tightly in plastic.

Putting a banana in the refrigerator will prevent the banana from ripening (the skin will turn brown however). In your case, I would throw the banana away as any microorganism could have gotten in there from being open like that.

Bananas tend to brown faster in the fridge. It'll probably be OK for a few days, or you can peel it & freeze it. Then, blend with fruit for a fast smoothie.

It will not go bad. If you put it in the fridge the skin will turn black BUT it will not ripen anymore and is still godd to eat.
If you bake and like banana bread, which uses 'very, very ripe' bananas, just put it in the freezer and save for that purpose.

Just put it in a zip lock bag to keep the air away from it, no need to refrigerate it. Make sure you eat it within a couple of days though.

I'd have it right away or the first thing in the morning for breakfast so it won't lose it's flavor.
