Does anyone know how to make seasoned pretzels?

We had some seasoned pretzel sticks at a party and I would like to make them. I bought a package of ranch dressing mix and I'm thinking of adding some garlic and cayenne pepper. How do I do it? Bake them or what? Thanks!

Seasoned Pretzels
1 cup vegetable or canola oil
1 envelope dry ranch dressing mix (1 oz.)
1 teaspoon lemon pepper
1 teaspoon dill
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
3 cups pretzel nuggets
Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk ranch dressing mix and seasonings with the oil. Add pretzels and mix well to coat evenly. Place the pretzels on one or two baking sheets (with rims), spreading them out to allow for air circulation.

Bake pretzels for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally. Place baked pretzels on several layers of paper towel so the excess oil will be absorbed. Allow to cool completely; store in an airtight container or plastic zippered bag.

Makes 3 cups.

I've never made them but I'm sure you could make them like you do the chex mix (it has pretzels in it).
Butter, seasonings, lea & perrins- pour over the pretzels bake about 250 degree oven for 1 hour---stir every 15 minutes or so.

you should buy the sour dough pretzel pieces or buy whole ones and break them up yourself, then you drizzle them with vegetable or canola oil, then in a plastic bag shake 'em up with the ranch and whatever else you'd like to add. I've only made them once but I've had them a ton of times, I think you bake them for about 15 to 20 minutes on fairly low heat. Be careful they don't burn!
