Yes. I am partly French and partly Native American and also Roman Catholic. The French and Catholics are frequently the butt of nasty jokes and occasionally Native Americans. It ain't cool. But it won't ever stop either. Fortunately in the 21st century, the people who tell nasty jokes about other groups of people make themselves a joke , not their intended victims. Peace be with you

Im hispanic - and I didnt find that offensive. Not funny either, but not offensive... Ignorant yes, so why allow myself to be upset at the ignorance of another?
We all must realize that humor comes at the expense of SOMEONE or something. Have you ever heard a REALLY good joke that doesnt put the screws to some race, religion or stereotype? That is the nature of humor. If we cannot laugh at ourselves, we should point and laugh at others. Thats just the way it is...

Honestly... I've told jokes like this before- about all races (including my own)- in many cases in the presence of people the jokes are target at...
Do I look down upon someone else because of their race or religion... no.
Would I be willing to date outside my race? Yes, I would prefer to.
Do I find racial humor funny? Absolutely. Do I find it true? No.
Does this make me racist... perhaps... but no more than any other Carlos Mencia fan...
edit:- do I ever tell jokes like THAT for the sheer purpose of pissing someone off? ABSOLUTELY NOT.

That wasn't a particularly brillinant joke, but I think the vast majority of us are guilty of laughing at stereotypes - precisely because we know they're a load of crap. I'm Australian, and it's pretty much the policy here in Aus to laugh at everybody, including ourselves. I've heard some pretty unflattering jokes about Australians, and I laugh along with everybody else. They are, after all, just jokes.

I can't say I've never participated in kidding someone about the stereotypes involving his/her race - all in fun and NOT behind someone's back. But I can say that I had a party Saturday night and I had so many people comment on how well integrated we are as a family and religious group. We had whites, blacks, Columbian and Creole there. It was quite an event and no one was polarized because of their race.

I laughed about a mexican joke once but it wasn't that offensive. I don't tell racist jokes even though I've heard plenty, mainly from the mexicans I worked with at a restaurant, but I think they perpetuate bad stereotypes.

i did not think that was funny
not because it was racist but because it was just not funny
i Will laugh at any joke no matter who it insults as long as it is funny.
i would even tell black jokes in a crowded room full of only black people. because if a joke is funny then it is funny.
i have never been the but of a racist joke because i am white but if anyone insults me with a joke about any part of my life, and it is funny i would laugh.

Of course I have. Who among us can say we never have? But I'm not a racist. I judge people based on how they act. That question is actually kind of funny on a sophomoric level - not really funny but funny. That one is actually more about a conscious choice than something that can't be changed like color.
I'm Polish and those jokes don't bother me. Ever see Dave Chapelle, Chris Rock or Eddie Murphy? Hilarious.
It's quite possible for something to be funny and offensive at the same time. You can laugh and then feel bad that you laughed, for example.

That question's disgusting.
I try not to tell or laugh at jokes like that. I can't remember a time when I've ever found jokes like that funny. They're just terrible.
On a side note, I'm glad you got your picture back :)
