You need to install "Itunes" in order for this to work.

I don't think you need ITunes, because any mp3 player has the basic drag-and-drop feature. Just connect the iPod with the USB cable, then go to My Computer and check to see if the iPod is there. You might have to wait 1 minute or 2, especially if this is your first time. (Every other time it might just take a few seconds.) Then you can drag any files you want to it.

This system might not work with an iPod, since thats what everyone else says, but it works with all other mp3 players.

Yes the correct answer is you require Itunes. It is a free music application that allows you yo upload songs from the library to your Ipod. You see I also like to be kind so I will give you a link to the download site of the latest version 7.1.
This will work with Windows 2000 | xp | xp sp 2 | Vista

I have an ipod too! What you need to do is go to either go to apple.ca ipod.ca or itunes.ca (there all the same!) Download
itunes 7. itunes works on all apple computers but only works on
xp 2000 or vista if you have windows. Just to let you know you automaticly download it to your computer before you ipod.

You have to, have to, have to use the iTunes software to put files on an iPod. Even if they are not iTunes files.
