After making a big splash with the Kansas State board of education, the ID-iots had that "victory" overturned, then proceeded to lose every scuffle they got into. They tried to publish a paper in a peer-reviewed scientific journal by sneaking it in fraudulently *without* peer review, and got caught. Not that they ever did have any, but they don't have much credibility left.

The "Discovery Institute" is still around, though, and still getting donations from ignorant people with more money than brains. I'd look for them to mount more attacks on reason, logic, and science soon. They're like a bad penny...

Peace.

It's dead in the courts. It was a good enough idea that scientists actually had to study it, but study after study is showing that it is not true. Like everything else in Creationism, there is no evidence for it and evidence against.

They have a new thing they're trying to promote now, called "Teach the Controversy". That's even worse than ID. "Teach the Controversy" basically means "lie to students and get them to believe that scientists are actually having arguments about whether creation or evolution took place".

God breaths out the universe, to which the universe coheres and aligns with itself in order to emulate the divine principle. The coherency is what is deemed intelligent by a conscious, rational individual.

I believe that it has been discarded by everyone but those who still hope to see Creation taught in science class.
