I'm looking at choosing between these two warranty companies, any feedback on how you fared with these companies is gratefully recieved.

no , i run a garage and will not work for people who expect me to bill these warrant companies, like all warranties they use any little thing to get out of paying or make things as difficult as possible, just don't need the grief.

I do not know Warrantywise, Warranty Direct I have had come into my shop and they paid for nothing even though the paperwork clearly stated the repair was a covered item. The only one of these warranties that I have had come in that I would purchase for myself or recommend to a customer is Wynn's Extended Care Warranty. They can be found on-line and I am very impressed with there ease of payment to my shop and the coverage they provide you the customer. Just remember one thing, ALL aftermarket warranty companies will not pay off on anything major if there has been ANY mods done to the car, period. If the submitted covered repair is over a certain dollar value that they deem warrants an inspection before the work will be paid for and the inspector finds a mod, your toast. I have seen a set of aftermarket rims kill an ECU failure coverage, and what those two things have in common is beyond me, but it did. So READ every clause and every paragraph and ask questions before buying any extended warranty. Good Luck
