No. I straddle the fence because the pole isn't available down at the country be-bop bars, and I need money.

Actually, I am an agnostic atheist. Whether or not this makes me more of a fence-straddler is up to interpretation, but I certainly hope it does. The better I straddle that fence, the more I can buy the good crack.

Pascal's wager is garbage and you and I both know it. I am not a fence straddler. God remains as a viable option to the origin of the universe. I am a strong agnostic. I know that there is no way to answer the question of a being at a higher level of existence any more than answer the question, "What's beyond the universe?" I think that there are question for which God is a viable hypothesis.

Here's the thing about agnostics: they are not as certain as either atheists or theists are. There are questions remaining involving either position.

In the view of physical science, every observable phenomenon can be explained on the bases of the known laws of nature or laws yet to be discovered. If there is a phenomenon that we cannot understand or explain with our present state of knowledge, then we have to await future discoveries and developments. The fact that we do not understand an event or a phenomenon should drive us to seek an understanding of it. There are no mysteries in science; everything has a scientific explanation.
