it depends on how u r downloading them ... its better to download the flv flash file and convert it urself into avi or mpeg ..... and then from there u can convert them to dvd format with an authoring application or somthing like winavi ...

Ok, Hi emma, before anything. Now, what you should do is go to this page http://vixy.net and paste the Url of the youtube Video you want to see... This is a converter and downloader of flv Video Files which are commonly used on this kinda sites. when the conversion is complete (you should leave it in the option "avi for windows") you'll receive a download link, click on this link and you'll have the vid on your Pc, ready for Windows Media Player, Winamp or any player that supports avi files.

Since Youtube won't let you download vids and i see you have problems with your actual player i reccomend you do this... is better and the files are not so heavy (a music video that would normally weight 52 mb when downloaded from vixy.net will weight aprox. 4-5 mb) I hope this helps... See ya!

Why not try TubeHunter, it can save videos from hundreds of video sharing webs as MPEG, and then any dvd burner can burn mpeg to disk.
