I think you forgot to search that question. I found another yahoo member that asked almost that same exact question. This was the question:
Do dogs really have black-and-white vision?If they do, how would they see in the dark?

They would see the same way we do. The cones in our retina that are used for colour vision are much less sensitive to light than the rods, used for black and white. In the dark, we are mainly relying on our rods to pick up the small amounts of light. Dogs have only rods in their eyes, so at night, we are in the same situation as them.

Actually they only cant see red green, pink and orange, they can see the other colors. Trust me I know I'm a vet.

i dont think so cause i have 2 leopard geckos and ill be messing with them and my dog is watching them move i think people saying they r color blind is A MITH
