Women give birth to children and have a wider pelvic bone than men they need a wider saddle to ride comfortably. The width and shape of you pelvic bone will determine the seat that fits you best. It is normal to feel a little sore if you are new, but not for three days.

Just for the basics most of your weight should be carried on your pelvic bone. If you lift your knees near you chest and reach around like you are pulling a g-sting out you will feel the part of the pelvis that should support your weight (one each side.)

More padding can increase the pressure on the areas that should not be supporting weight. If you get a gel saddle make sure it designed with this in mind.

There is a good article on this here

What high quality is the motorbike/saddle? If it incredibly is a concern-loose style then determining to purchase a greater advantageous saddle will advantages your bum vast time. in basic terms 3 areas of our physique touch a bike - bum, hands and ft - and maximum of our weight is on our bum, so that is extremely worth paying a first rate cost. in my view I have been given a saddle it incredibly is particular to the perspective of my back - it incredibly is indicative of the appropriate bony bits. And the bits are different for women and men. i offered from Selle Royal's Lookin selection - value approximately £35 and the version became substantial from day one. That pronounced, while you are going to stay interior the saddle for plenty better than 30 minutes on a favourite foundation then you will need padding on your clothing to boot. you do no longer would desire to positioned on tight lycra shorts - you will get padded undies or dishevelled shorts.

the reason you butt hurts, and also probably the section under the butt too, is because your body/muscles in that area are not used to the pressure from teh saddle. It can take a couple day before your body fully adjusts for it.... for some people it can take a couple weeks but usually a couple days. What i would advise, while learning to ride, stand up every couple of pedals just to relieve the pressure a little bit even for a little while.

also, as you start to ride more, your muscles in that area begin to develop and start to absorb a lot of the shock from the transfer of energy from the ground. To help this process along, you can do lower body or leg exercises such as squats, lunges, and jumping jacks. this will help develop the muscles around the "sensitive" spots and make riding more comfortable and easier.

you need a quality seat. the English are the only one's that have one. they are called Brooks seats they are more expensive than all the crap you can get from china or korea this is not an advertizement. this is just an opinion from a low life that has ridden both. I told you what will be more comfy than a regular old seat bike shops on line will steer you in vagely the right direction. thy will also tell you I am full of smelly fecal matter. this will be true in most instances. the will want to sell you somthing they will say will be a wonder4full seat. tell them this big fat low-life told you about brooks seats. they make simular seats in india that will not do due to shoddy metal parts and stuff like that

Well, in part, it's usually common when we start riding bikes. Also, saddles are like shoes, not all shoes might fit you.

Usually, women saddles are a bit wider than men's, but shorter. A softer saddle does not mean it will be more confortable, it will depend more on how well it adapts to your bum.

Try a womans bike, that will have a softer and more comfortable seat.

You either need some more padding on the bike seat or on "your seat". They do make shorts with additional padding so as you can remove the extra padding from "your seat".

so your bums a little cheeky eh?...yes that was a bad joke. one your probably not used to it, two it could have been the seat and three it could have been the terrain on which you were riding or any of the above. just try a different seat and ride more.

Get yourself a recumbent. Padded seat, something that you can lean back agaisnt, and you can literally ride forever.
