I'm going to have to go with DimensionalStryder, Prometheus was much more influential. Achilles was a great hero and nearly immortal, stupid tendon is still is a weak point for us all.

Here's the deal, it's not that he invented the damn tendon, it's that we didn't have a name for it until he went down in a heap of **** like he did by getting shot in it. The guy was a useless tool when it came down to the feet area. He was quick on his feet, but obviously not too strong in them if his feet were what eventually did him in. My advice to any runner would be to not have Achilles as one of your heroes/idols because you will likely fall down in the race before you reach the finish line, much like Achilles.

Achilleis is the convenient modern designation of a trilogy of plays written by the Greek tragedian Aeschylus. It follows the Greek hero Achilles during the Trojan War, wherein he defeats Hector and eventually gets killed by Paris when an arrow punctures his heel.

Achilles? That heel?

The tendon was there way before he came along (and he is purported to be a Greek myth).

Hmmmm gotta wonder if there's a mr. tibia and fibula because without them the tendon is pretty pointless!

Yeah, I guess he's first when it comes to body parts, but Mr Funny is a close second

But what about Prometheus? He brought us fire after all. We'd all still be back in the stone age without that.

Walking is overrated.. :P

I disagree.

Menis is the wrath a god has, not a man. Achilleus was a god.
Well, a demigod.
