Ok, I've worked in the hair industry for 5 years and know every single brand in and out.
For very very dry damaged hair I HIGHLY reccomend that you find TIGI's S Factor brand. It's their higher end line so it's pricier than others but its super concentrated and COMPLETELY worth it.
You should look for their S Factor Serious Conditioner as a once a week treatment. They also have daily shampoo and conditioner and stylist products.
It's definitely the best, I've seen the results.

I think the one that works best, and is the most cost effective, is Pantene Pro-V. I've found that it gives me the hydration that my hair needs, plus it adds volume.
But don't take my word for it...try a sample first. Go to www.pantene.com for one.
