Does are country know the difference between
Marine and Soldier?

Of course (if you mean our)... The thing is though that "Soldiers" is used to classify all those who are fighting (it makes it shorter then trying to say the difference every time our troops are mentioned).

I believe Marines are supposed to be involved in sea-to-land assaults and be on ships.

And I think soldiers are only in the land forces of a countrys military.

I think those are more or less right, but I'm honestly not 100% sure.

Marine is suppose to be a naval infantry with the mission of performing amphibious assaults by infantry, armour, and air. Marine can also mean navy. Marine is usually associated with the naval based infantry, in old days they were used to board enemy ships, and assist the captain of the ship. They are also used to set up forward operating Naval bases.

Soldier is defined as someone who served for pay, in America its used to descrie someone who served in the Army.

marines are all marines

soldiers means anyone in the army

sad we all have to be classified together

i hate when you see a soldier on tv representing us all who is a paper pushin p.o.s. telling his version of iraq..........
