So i hear that almost everywhere in Europe and Asia use 220v electricity....I live in the U.S... is there a device I can take with me that lets me use my electronic devices (hair straightner, cell phone, video camra, etc) there without worrying about frying them!? If yes...what is it called, what brand should i get, where can i find it...and a price range would be helpful too.

Thanks alot

In Japan the biggest thing is that a lot of places only have the two-prong sockets instead of the three-prong, so you can buy a really cheap converter piece, but I have heard of some scenarios where someone used the converter for their laptop and then it wouldn't work without it afterwards, but I don't know how true that is. I think Radio Shack should have what you're looking for. I don't know about the conversion for Europe.
