You can give all the facts and figures you can find, but it comes down to several problems. First off, facts and figures can always be misused, and there are normally conflicting facts and figures, depending on where you look. Second off, people make money or get control over other people by certain policies, so no matter how many facts you have, you will not be able to change that.

For example, things like charter schools and school vouchers are favored by the poorest parents. They also introduce competition, which would be beneficial to the people who really need it - i.e. the students. However, the teacher's unions and others associated with public education have a stake in keeping them out. Therefore, they and the politicians they control (e.g. Democratic Party) will never allow them and will use all their power to keep them out.

Finally, the question is a philosophical one: how much should one group of people be able to use their political power to control other people? If you think you have found a foolproof solution to poverty (which I think is clear will never happen), what gives you the right to take control of their resources away from the people who rightfully own them?

Easy. Count them. Has poverty disappeared with globalization? Nope. 90% or more of the world is still poor. So globalization is not making an impact on them. Doesn't necessarily mean it is causing poverty, which has always been around. It certainly is not making any obvious positive impact either.

Globalisation is not working for the poor.

Do more research -- get experts involved -- write an artical/book -- publish it.
