divorced. This boyfriend used to be so affectionate, he pursued me, called me from abroad when he was on business, left gifts in my house, invited me to his sisters house, etc...at first i said i didnt want a label on the relationship...he said that was okay...he said he was developing feelings and doing things for me like bringing me ice cream when he was really tired from work...before he moved in he said that after work he goes to work out and read/eat out...he said hes not the type to stay at home, his job is stressfull...i just graduated from my masters and im looking for a job...he told me i just stay at home all day and wait for him, not true...although i did say i was bored a lot...i told him i needed space...we went to a strip club one night and i felt jealous...so i went and talked to another guy and got his number...i was drunk and half-joking...this past weekend when i drank we went dancing with my best friend, my boyfriend felt like i didnt pay attention to him

How do you get bored a lot when you are looking for work? And, why go to a strip club? This whole scene sounds messy. Sounds like you don't know what you want, also. He told you he was developing feelings, and you are scared or don't care as much. If you are jealous, you need to tell him so, and not act out in a childish way. I don't get why you let him move in if you needed your space? He sounds like a nice guy and you need to make a decision. He is getting tired of this cat n mouse.

It also appears that you still resenting your divorce and this is your play time. You need to resolve/deal with the divorce and not take it out on possible future partners. If you don't want to be with someone, then tell em straight out. It is never fair..

You are pushing him away for some reason. You have to do your own thing and by that I dont mean drinking and getting guys numbers that was wrong. Whatever he did to make you jealous you should talk to him about when you are not drunk two wrongs dont make a right. So i would suggest you think about what you want do you want to be with him. You might be stringing him along because he treats you nicely but you might not have feelings for him and thats why you ignore him

When he said WHAT? ....you named a lot of things he said...sounds to me that you need a focus in your life other than him...if you're bored. How can you be bored if you are looking for a job - and why did you tell him you needed space?...it is HE who should be asking did you mean it is over, not you. You also appear to be insecure, which is a sure fire way to run a man away from you PDQ!

When he said what to me it does not even sound as if you were together together because you did not label the relationship and when there is no label you can do what ever it is you both want to do

You didn't post a question, but the drinking, strip clubs, and flirting may be problem. Doesn't sound like a solid foundation.

i dont think it is over because he didnt say that it was... but what you should do is talk to him and reconnect... you two need to sit down and talk about your feelings, what you want from this relationship, and were you are headed... the issue that you are having is communication... if you two dont clearify things now.. you will have worse porblems later on
