I just need to do some touch ups, but I'm having trouble finding the right color of paint that matches? Is there an easier way to do this?

Sherwin williams has a color match computer scanning system take a razor to a pace on your wall that is hidden by a picture or furniture and cut a one inch or so square to take in for the match (just the paper on top of the sheetrock) then while you are at the store pick up a flexible putty knife, some spackling, a piece of 100 grit sand paper, and a spray can of oil based primer. Then when you get home prime the area to be patched first let dry, then spackle let dry, then primer again let dry 24 hours then touch up with the wall paint. If the walls are covered with flat finish touch up is easy, satin is a little harder to blend so i would use a 4 inch roller instead of a brush, and if they are semi-gloss i would repaint the whole room. good luck with whatever you decide. If you have anymore ? email me @yahoo.

Get a color chart or get a paint sample from a hidden area of the room and take it to your paint store for a color match

You'll never be able to touch up without it showing. The paint changes overtime, and clean new paint will still show up, even if you took it out of the same can you originally painted it with.

Go get a bunch of swatches and see what matches. Next time hang on to your paint swatches when you choose color, so that if you have to go get more you can.

go to like home depot and grab up some of the colors charts in the color family that you are trying to match up and compare from the charts.

a easy shade... No challenge... enable me think of... How some intense-high quality colour of yellow? i could alert you, yellow is a tough shade, it truly is a few distance too common to p.c. a yellow it truly is jarring. How some intense-high quality colour of cappuchino shade? It relies upon on your furniture and different concerns, inclusive of your tastes. Pastels in case you like comfortable hues, yet circumvent synthetic hues. Stairs and touchdown... do not p.c. a powerful shade, because it would immediately substitute into overbearing.
