Wow were those C's in spelling and grammar. not surprising,

Did you put forth your best effort into each class? If you did, then that's all you can do, and if your mom is mad at you about that, that's her problem. However, I would suspect you DIDN'T give those classes your best efforts, your mother knows this, and is upset not because you got a C, but because you didn't do your best. Sooooooo, this SEMESTER (spell check is a wonderful thing) do your best work. Turn all assignments in on time, get with the teachers if you don't understand certain concepts, and arrange extra help in each subject. Do any extra credit assignments you can as well.

Nothing you can do...the only reason your mom's going to be mad is because she wants the best for you. So just show her the report, take your grounding or whatever, and pay attention and do better next semester.
