I am a uncertified teacher and I want to move out of Wash DC area to North Carolina. I have never done anything like this before and I just wanted to know how to get the process of trying to move down there started. What are some nice towns that are cool for singles to move too in NC?

Waynesville is in the mountains and absolutely beautiful. Waterfalls are very close, hiking, rafting, antiques, motorcycle rallies, arts and crafts festivals...but beware, coming from D.C., the people are extremely friendly, and this may take some getting use to. Everyone says "Hey", (mountain talk for hello), and they actually stop their car to let you walk across the street!

Well, first of all I would recommend that you learn the difference between "too" and "to" because they're completely different words. The Raleigh area in North Carolina seems to be pretty popular.

I would first secure a house or somewhere to stay. Also, become a certified teacher-it'll make life alot easier when looking for a job.
