How does a guy behave if he's really into you? I believe he has fancied me for ages but he's not asking me out! He wants to know my romantic situation and asks serious searching questions about it. I keep saying I am now single and ready for another relationship and lightly flirting with him. I am always polite and look into his eyes, I laugh with him and create opportunities but he's not following through! It appears like he's in love with me - my daughter (aged 13) saw us together once and he made a big effort to talk to her and she said "God Mom, he fancies you!" I have only ever had a relationship with my daughters Dad and he left quite a few years ago so I'm a bit clueless.I really fancy him too but I want to be clear that he's into me so I can maybe drop some more hints or ask him myself! Do you think he does?

Vanish and see what he does! Honestly I mean come on fella make a move, I hate guys like this! They lead you on and never do anything about it. I think he's playing games. Just ask him out, at least then you will know. I have a sneaking suspicion he will back down, its nothing to do with you, its all his stuff! :o)

asking about your romantic situation is a definate clue that he is interested. but he may not be following through becaus he is not ready to take on you and your daughter. (some guys are sadly like that).
you will only find out by directly asking him what his intentions are.
does he want to be friends?
would he like to be more than friends?
is he willing to take on the stepdad role?
i'm sure you have your questions. as i don't know you or him, i've limited my questions for you to ask him.
are you certain it is you he is after and he is not interested in your daughter? (some sick perverts are like that, they pretend to go for the mom to get at the kid or so i have heard).
so keep your wits about you.
if he does not want a relationship with you, i bet someone else with, so think positive and keep an open mind.

only one way to find out hun.....ask him, i know that can feel daunting particularly as you are not used to the dating game, maybe he senses that you are shy or maybe he is, it sounds as though he really does like you but maybe he thinks it may spoil the obvious friendship you have already, just invite him over for a meal and take it from there, chances are if he agrees to the meal (date) you have your answer, dont be afraid you may miss your chance, so take the bull by the horns and go for it,good luck but dont think you will need it x

Ask him if he fancies going out for dinner. If says yes - your in. If he says no just say it was a group thing, and that you hope he didn't misintepret your invitation.
