Yesterday... Today... Tomorrow...

2007-03-20 08:20:41 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 2 0

I like it when I can wake up without an alarm clock, take time to really wake up and get going. Have a quick and healthy breakfast, go for a walk or a bicycle ride. Take a shower. Read and write. Eat a wonderful lunch. Work some. Eat again and drink a lot of water. Rest, and reflect on God's Word, pray and thank Him for another wonderful day. Kisses and hugs from my daughter with some quality time.Give glory to my Lord. And go to sleep in my own bed. : )

PS: I did not want to give too much emphasis to bodily functions, but it is indeed a happy day when your stomach is working. Luckily I do not have any problems with that department. : )

Perfect days don't exist. They were only perfect when you look back on them. I've had many of them, but never once did I, during that day, realize it was in fact a perfect day.

The day I met the love of my life was a perfect day. Even if that whole day I was nervous like hell.

Today could also be a perfect day, but I won't know that before tomorrow. Living life as if every day could be a perfect day is the best way to live life, probably.

Wake up in a nice hotel suite. Take a hot spa bath. Eat a great breakfast. Go hiking in the mountains of NC. Take pictures of beautifull vistas. Eat lunch in a little cafe. Walk through downtown Asheville NC shopping, and looking around. Eat dinner in a really nice, but casual resturaunt, sit in a bookstore, or outside starbucks sipping hot chocolate (In my perfect day, it's chilly but nice) and debating with friends, then go back to my suite, sit by the fire, and read mythology, or draw. When I'm sleepy I cuddle into a soft warm bed with my husband, and listen to classical music till I fall asleep

I had a perfect day once. We had rented a beach house. My family and I were on Day 2 there (Day 1 had rain all day). The sky was blue, the sun was out, the day was about 80°. My kids were playing in the sand. My husband was surfing and waving like a fool from the top of a wave. I took my kids in the water a bit and about 5 feet away from us, a little family of dolphins poked their heads out for air. They were just another family enjoying a nice day. It was so cool. My kids still talk about that day.

Yeah, that day was perfect. Doubt I see another one in my life that was as good as that.

Another day to speak about the Love of Jesus is a perfect day.

A perfect day in my eyes would be the day Christ takes me home, weather that be from death or His return I'll be ready!!

Sleeping in, and someone else doing the cooking and the cleaning all day. I can handle the book-reading, the story-telling and the hugging and the kissing, I wouldn't even mind a diaper change or two as long as someone else has to stand in the kitchen for a few hours.

It's 75 degrees and sunny outside, I don't have work, I've got enough caffeine to give a bull elephant a heart attack, my favorite snacks are in the cupboard and I've got a great idea for where my novel is going to go. This is a perfect day.

My perfect day would have to be where I can sleep late. Kids not fighting playing nice. Housework including laundry all done and nothing but silence.

THAT WOULD BE MY PERFECT DAY!
