Not really.

That famous line from one of His healing miracles speaks of the person’s faith in Him, not the actual touching of His garment. Many people, especially during His crucifixion, have touched Him and His garments, but did not change in any way, because there was no prayer of faith. You do not need to touch Him, you need to believe in Him.

Hebrews 11:1. Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

Yes, but I know now that we have been given the same power and authority. Remember Paul? His anointing was so strong that people touched his "handkerchief" (it was a large linen cloth folded on the side and tucked into the belt) and were healed, that disciple could walk down the dusty road and cast their shadows on people and they would be healed???? Now THAT'S amazing. We have that same power - but we lack the faith to believe it and practice it daily - therefore our elders are weak and do not believe and we cannot carry the sick to them to be healed. The Word says that if there are sick among you, take them to the elders to have hands laid on them and they shall be healed. We need to start praying and KEEP BELIEVING for that awesome power to return to us as Jesus said we would (remember - and greater works we shall do??/)

This verse refers to a woman with 12 years, (on her period), issues of blood. But most miss the point, it was not the Hem of Jesus clothing that healed her it was her faith, her belief in Jesus. If you believe in Jesus you will keep his commandments, and he will heal you, but remember the flesh profiteth nothing it is the spirit that is quickeneth.

That Jesus is so powerful and so magnificent that even the man who touched the hem of His garment KNEW he would be healed, such faith!
