I am not worried because God takes care of those that belong to him in times of famine.

But I do believe that we have been given over to this muslim mess by God for turning our back on God as a nation. That is what happened in Jeremiah's day, and if God has given us over there is NOTHING we can do about it.

Hold on to the Bible stand firm in our faith and be willing to die for the cause of Christ and not compromise. That's it.

We need to get closer to God than we have ever been, no matter what it takes, i.e. fasting, praying, bible reading etc.

Wow, it's kind of a slow day :) I'll answer your questions although from the tone I'm sure you won't like it:

1. No, I'm not. Religious tolerance was a founding principle of the US and it's still working.

2. No, I'll go out and have a cheeseburger.

3. I neither encourage nor oppose any person holding a position of power based on his/her religion.

The issue at hand is whther or not they are able to do the job, and do it well. It doesn't matter if someone is Muslim, Jew, Christian, Pagan, Atheist, Astaru, or worships Banjo the Clown (FULL marks to anyone who gets that refernce).

Blessings,
Zimmi

I only want people in high ranking positions if, in fact, they would worship Banjo the Clown. The God of puppetry is the only Deity worth worshipping.

Seriously, worried of what? Muslims are not 'taking over the world', they are a part of the world. With millions of Muslims in the USA (I guess that's where you live), wouldn't it be fair if at least a few high political position were filled by Muslims? I assumed that's what your democratic system is all about.

I live in Holland. We have a Muslim as minister of Integration. It works out fine. She's qualified for the job.

1. No

2. No, I never stand around and just twittle my thumbs.

3. I have no problem with Muslims being in positions of high ranking. They are moral and pious people. Many of which would serve very well in high positions. There are many muslims who would serve as good leaders.

P.S. I am a Christian.

I'm worried about IDIOTS being in high ranking positions of authority. Their religion makes no difference. Now you'll know how everyone else has felt with Christians controlling every aspect of our lives, education, and government for so long. Pushing THEIR religious views? Are you kidding? That's the pot calling the kettle black.

first of all - turn the tv off and read! second, no. i am not worried. I have no idea which positions they are taking over - but it sounds like someone trying to use fear tactics on you. did they ask for a donation after they told you this? Live like Christ and you will be doing what you re supposed to be doing. Don't get taken in by self-serving pseudo-righteous Christian Jihadists! I realize that some people need (though i do not understand why) "situations" to call for people to start living with compassion and love. its the end of the world........Muslims are taking over........the antichrist is here......c'mon people. what do you think God is going to think about all of you "getting religion" in the eleventh hour, when you've known about it your entire life.

It's ironic that an evangelical Fundie Xian like yourself would speak ill of others trying to shove their religion on others. Seeing as it's the same thing you're doing to us.

The majority of the people in high-ranking positions are not Christians anyway, so why would Muslims be any different?

I feel that some of that reasoning is designed to induce fear in the Christian community, which I think is not of God. If God were warning us of something, then we should respond in prayer. Not in feeling threatened and terrified so much that we would support any agenda the Bush Administration would undertake to assault Islamic countries for their oil.

Don't buy into the fear. We are commanded to love our neighbors, including Muslim neighbors, not fear them.

The only people who have a problem with this are the christians in high ranking positions in fear of losing their power. They want to be the only ones "trying to push their religious onto society:. They also don't want pagans, atheists, wiccans, or anyone else in high ranking positions either.
