Truthfully, you can get pregnant at any point during your cycle if you have unprotected sex (even during your period).

Yes. You should wait at least 10 days after your menstrual before intercourse, that way your eggs will have been flushed out. This doesn't mean that you're 100% safe from getting pregnant though. And the issue with your stomach getting bigger and you eating a lot might be from stress. You may be stressing out over "thinking" you're pregnant. You should also NOT have intercourse 10 days before your menstrual.

You can even get pregnant while ON your period. You can get pregnant any time of your cycle. If you dont know that, you certainly have no business trying to make babies.
I have a 2 month old from sex I had on my period.

Typically the 5-7 days after the end of your period you're less fertile time if you don't use protection. The catch is this, if you're period is irregular it is much harder to pinpoint your less fertile week.

Plus if your stomache is smooth and your belly button pokes out all the way then that is another sign.
